How to download a SciFiStories story as EPUB
- Open the story on SciFiStories. Its URL should look like
https://scifistories.com/s/1234/story-title. - Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.
- Paste it into the download box above or use the SciFiStories downloader.
- Sign in with your SciFiStories account. SciFiStories requires an account for downloads.
- Select EPUB and choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Start the download and save the EPUB to your device.
WP Downloader downloads the complete story. It does not support individual SciFiStories chapters or story lists.
What the download includes
The EPUB contains the complete English-language story that your SciFiStories account can read. EPUB downloads are free for everyone and work with many ebook readers and reading apps.
You can choose to include the story’s images. For a document-style copy, use the SciFiStories to PDF converter. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader does not produce MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. It also cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When a story gains another chapter, paste its link again and download a new copy.
SciFiStories support, along with support for the other fiction archives on the supported sites page, was ported from FanFicFare. FanFicFare is an open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0.
Signing in to SciFiStories
You must sign in with a SciFiStories account before WP Downloader can fetch a story from the site. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to retrieve the story you requested.
The downloader can fetch only content your account can already read. It cannot bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions. If your account cannot open the story on SciFiStories, WP Downloader cannot unlock it.

Can I download just one SciFiStories chapter?
No. SciFiStories downloads include the whole story, not individual chapters. Paste the main story URL to create an EPUB containing the story available to your account.
Do I need a SciFiStories account?
Yes. You must sign in with an account on SciFiStories to download a story from the site.
Can I update my existing EPUB when a new chapter appears?
No. WP Downloader cannot update an existing EPUB. Download the story again to create a new copy with the chapters currently available to your account.
