How to Listen to SciFiStories Stories With Text-to-Speech

3. Select Spoken Content.
4. Turn on Speak Screen.

6. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers.

Open Settings, select Accessibility, and turn on Select to Speak. You can then tap items on the screen to hear them read aloud.

Use @Voice Aloud Reader

@Voice Aloud Reader can read EPUB files aloud. Open the downloaded EPUB in the app to listen with one of your device’s text-to-speech voices.

Listen on Windows, macOS, or Linux

Thorium Reader is a free EPUB reader for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Open the SciFiStories EPUB in Thorium Reader and use its read-aloud feature.

You can also use calibre, a free desktop application. Open the EPUB in its e-book viewer and select Read aloud.

What will the voice sound like?

Speak Screen, Select to Speak, Moon+ Reader, @Voice Aloud Reader, Thorium Reader, and calibre use the text-to-speech voices on your device. How natural the narration sounds depends on which voices are installed.

Listen to an updated story

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB that you already have. If the SciFiStories story changes or gets new chapters, download the entire story again and open the new EPUB in your reading app.
