How to Read SciFiStories on a Boox E-Reader
Start by downloading the complete SciFiStories story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader. You can copy the file to your Boox over USB or open it from Google Drive. Boox e-readers run Android, so both formats work in the built-in reader. You can also install another Android reading app if you prefer.
Download the SciFiStories story
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install. Open the SciFiStories downloader and paste the story link.
A SciFiStories story URL looks like this:

Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader can access only material your account is allowed to read. It cannot bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
Then:
- Sign in to your SciFiStories account when prompted.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file to your phone or computer.
EPUB downloads are free for everyone. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
WP Downloader downloads the whole SciFiStories story. It does not download individual chapters or lists. If the author adds chapters later, download the story again to get the newer version. An existing EPUB will not update automatically.

Transfer the story to your Boox
Once you have the EPUB or PDF, transfer it to your Boox over USB or through Google Drive.
Option 1: Copy the file over USB
Connect your Boox to your computer with a USB cable. When the device’s storage appears, copy the EPUB or PDF onto it.
Wait for the copy to finish, then safely disconnect the Boox. Find the file on the device and open it in the built-in reader. The downloaded story will be available without returning to SciFiStories in a browser.
USB is a straightforward choice when the file is already on your computer.
Option 2: Open the file from Google Drive
Upload the EPUB or PDF from your phone or computer to Google Drive. On your Boox, open the Google Drive app, find the file, and open it.
Since Boox e-readers run Android, they can use apps such as Google Drive and other Android reading apps. This lets you move the story without connecting the device to a computer.
Open and read the story
Find the transferred EPUB or PDF on your Boox and tap it to open it in the built-in reader.
You can also install another Android reading app and open the file there. The story remains a regular EPUB or PDF regardless of which reading app you choose.
Before reading away from Wi-Fi, open the file once on your Boox to check that it is available on the device. You will be reading the downloaded copy instead of the page on scifistories.com.
Choosing between EPUB and PDF
Both formats work on Boox e-readers:
- Choose EPUB for a standard e-book file.
- Choose PDF if you prefer that format and are willing to use a free Discord sign-in to create it.
