Read a SciFiStories Story in the Kindle App

You can read a SciFiStories story in the Kindle app by downloading the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, then adding the file to your Kindle library through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon converts the EPUB before it appears in the Kindle app.

What you need

Before you begin, you will need:

• The SciFiStories story link
• An account on scifistories.com
• The Kindle app on your phone or tablet
• Access to Amazon’s Send to Kindle service

WP Downloader is a free web tool and requires no installation. It downloads complete SciFiStories stories, not individual chapters or lists.

Step 1: Download the SciFiStories story

Open the SciFiStories downloader in your browser. You can also paste the link into the box on the WP Downloader home page, which will detect that the story comes from SciFiStories.

1. Copy the full SciFiStories story URL.
2. Paste it into WP Downloader.
3. Sign in with your SciFiStories account.
4. Select EPUB as the output format.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the EPUB to your device.

WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download material your account is already allowed to read, but it cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after you sign in with a free Discord account. Amazon accepts EPUB and PDF files through Send to Kindle, but this guide uses EPUB.

Step 2: Send the EPUB to Kindle

The downloaded EPUB must be added to your Kindle library before it will appear in the Kindle app. Amazon provides three ways to do this:

• Upload the EPUB through Send to Kindle on the web.
• Use the Send to Kindle app.
• Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.

Files sent by email must come from an approved sender email address. Amazon will not accept a file sent from an unapproved address.

Choose one of these methods, select the EPUB you downloaded, and submit it. Amazon will convert the file and add the story to your Kindle library.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files, so use EPUB for this process.

Step 3: Open the story in the Kindle app

Once Amazon has converted the EPUB, open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and check your library. The story should appear as a book. It will also appear in the same library on Kindle e-readers.

Getting updated chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. To get an updated copy of a story, return to the SciFiStories downloader and download the complete story again. You can then send the new EPUB to Kindle in the same way.

Can I download a single SciFiStories chapter?

No. WP Downloader downloads complete stories from SciFiStories. It does not download individual chapters or story lists from this site.

How do I get newly added chapters?
