How to download a Chireads story as PDF
- Open the story on Chireads and copy its URL. It should look like
https://chireads.com/category/translatedtales/story-name. - Paste the URL into the download form above.
- Select PDF as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Sign in with Discord when prompted. The sign-in is free and required for PDF downloads.
- Start the download and save the PDF to your device.
You can also paste the link into the main Chireads downloader. WP Downloader will detect that the story comes from Chireads.
What the PDF includes
WP Downloader puts the complete Chireads story into one PDF. Chireads stories are written in French.
You can include the story’s images in the downloaded book. If you prefer EPUB, use Chireads to EPUB without signing in to Discord.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. To get chapters published after your download, paste the story link again and download a new copy. The tool does not add new chapters to an existing EPUB.
Support for Chireads was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. Chireads and the other compatible fiction archives are listed on the supported sites page.
Signing in
You do not need a Chireads account. WP Downloader downloads complete Chireads stories, not individual chapters or lists.
Discord sign-in is only required to create a PDF through WP Downloader. Choose EPUB if you do not want to sign in with Discord.

Can I download one Chireads chapter?
No. WP Downloader downloads whole Chireads stories only. It does not support individual chapters or story lists from Chireads.
Do I need a Chireads account?
No. You only need a free Discord sign-in when downloading a PDF.
Can I include images in the PDF?
Yes. Select the image option in the download form before starting the download.
How do I get newly added chapters?
Paste the same Chireads URL into WP Downloader and download the story again. The tool does not update an existing EPUB with new chapters. If the download does not work as expected, visit the help guides.
