Download Chireads Stories as EPUB or PDF
WP Downloader can save a Chireads story as an EPUB or PDF. It is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything. Chireads stories are in French, and downloading them does not require a Chireads account.
How to download a Chireads story
Open the story on chireads.com and copy its address from your browser. Then:
- Open the Chireads Downloader.
- Paste the complete Chireads story URL into the box.
- Wait for WP Downloader to fetch the story.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file to your device.
For Chireads, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories.
You can also paste the link into the box on the WP Downloader home page. WP Downloader will detect that it comes from Chireads.
Which Chireads URL should you paste?
Paste the URL of the story itself. Chireads story URLs follow this pattern:
https://chireads.com/category/translatedtales/story-nameCopy the full address, including the category and story name, rather than a general page from the site.
On a phone, open the story in your browser and copy the link from the address bar or sharing menu. Return to WP Downloader and paste it into the download box.
Do you need to sign in?
You do not need a Chireads account to download a story.
The available formats have different sign-in requirements:
- EPUB is free for everyone and does not require a Discord sign-in.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
Should you choose EPUB or PDF?
Choose a format that your device or reading app can open. EPUB is available without signing in. If you need a PDF instead, sign in with a free Discord account.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. Before downloading, check whether your device or reading app accepts EPUB or PDF.
You can also choose whether the downloaded book includes the story’s images.
Open the story on your phone, tablet, or computer
After downloading the EPUB or PDF, find it in your device’s downloads and open it in an app that supports the format. Depending on your device and app, the relevant option may be called “Open with,” “Share,” or “Import.”

Move the story to an e-reader
Download the story, then transfer or import the EPUB or PDF using the method supported by your e-reader.

WP Downloader only creates EPUB and PDF files. It does not provide MOBI or AZW3 versions.
Download new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add chapters to a file you already downloaded. When a Chireads story gets new chapters, paste its URL into WP Downloader again to download a new copy of the whole story.
