https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/some-story-name.123456/. - Paste the link into the download form on this page.
- Choose PDF as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Sign in with Discord when prompted. Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
- Download the PDF to your device.
You can also paste the link into the main Sufficient Velocity downloader. WP Downloader will detect the site automatically.
What you get
Sufficient Velocity stories are forum threads. WP Downloader uses the threadmarks to identify the story chapters, then collects those chapters into one PDF without copying every reply in the discussion.
Downloads cover the whole story. You cannot download a single chapter or a list of threads from Sufficient Velocity. If the author adds chapters, download the story again to get the newly available threadmarks.
For adjustable text and use with ebook readers, choose the Sufficient Velocity to EPUB converter. EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
Support for Sufficient Velocity and the other fiction archives was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. See the supported sites page for the full list of compatible archives.
Sign-in requirements
Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in, even when the Sufficient Velocity story is public.
Signing in to Sufficient Velocity is optional. It allows WP Downloader to fetch members-only stories that your account can already read. Your account credentials are used only to fetch the story you request.
WP Downloader cannot bypass permissions or unlock restricted content. It can include only the chapters your account is allowed to read.
FAQ
Can I download a public Sufficient Velocity story without a site account?
Yes. Public stories do not require a Sufficient Velocity account. You still need a free Discord sign-in to create a PDF.
Does the PDF include every reply in the thread?
No. WP Downloader collects the threadmarked chapters instead of copying the full forum discussion.
Can I download just one chapter?
No. Sufficient Velocity downloads cover whole stories only. Paste the story thread URL, and WP Downloader will collect its available threadmarked chapters.
Why is a chapter missing?
The chapter may not have a threadmark, or it may be available only to signed-in members. If it is members-only, sign in with a Sufficient Velocity account that already has access and download the story again. See Help for more guidance.
