Your PDF contains the complete English-language story available to you through the submitted link. You can also include its images.
PDF works well for readers who prefer a fixed page layout or use an app that supports PDF files. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
For a reflowable ebook, use the Sam & Jack to EPUB converter. EPUB downloads are free for everyone and do not require a Discord sign-in.
Previously downloaded PDF and EPUB files cannot be updated with new chapters. If the story changes, paste its link into WP Downloader again to download a new copy containing everything currently available to you.
Sam & Jack support was ported from FanFicFare, an open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. The supported sites page lists the other compatible fiction archives.
Using a Sam & Jack account
You do not need a Sam & Jack account for public stories. Signing in to the site lets WP Downloader reach members-only stories that your account has permission to read.
Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader cannot bypass access restrictions or download anything your account cannot already read.
The Sam & Jack and Discord sign-ins have separate purposes. Your Sam & Jack account provides access to members-only stories, while the free Discord sign-in enables PDF output.
