Copy the EPUB to your NOOK

Barnes & Noble calls copying your own files to a NOOK “sideloading.” Connect your NOOK to your computer with a USB cable after downloading the EPUB.

On NOOK GlowLight models

The NOOK should appear on your computer as a drive named “NOOK.” Open the drive and drag the downloaded EPUB onto it.

After the file finishes copying, eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging the USB cable.

On newer NOOK models

On newer models, you may need to change the USB connection mode before transferring the file.

1. Connect the NOOK to your computer over USB.
2. Swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen.
3. Tap “USB for charging.”
4. Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”
5. Open the NOOK on your computer.
6. Drag the downloaded EPUB onto the device.
7. Eject the NOOK before disconnecting the cable.

You can now open the story on your NOOK and read it offline.

Download new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the author posts more threadmarked chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
