How to Add SpaceBattles Stories to Calibre

To add a SpaceBattles story to calibre, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and import the file using calibre’s Add books option. You can then organize the book, edit its metadata or cover, convert it to another format, read it on your computer, or transfer it to an e-reader.

Download the story with WP Downloader

SpaceBattles stories are published as forum threads. WP Downloader collects a thread’s threadmarked chapters and puts them into one book.

Copy the address of the story thread. A SpaceBattles story link usually looks like this:

4. Download the story as an EPUB.

Add the EPUB to calibre

If your device supports EPUB, you can keep the original format and skip conversion.

Send the story to an e-reader over USB

Calibre can send books to an e-reader connected by USB. Connect the device to your computer, wait for calibre to recognize it, select the SpaceBattles book, and use the option to send it to the device.

If the e-reader requires another format, convert the book before transferring it. Otherwise, you can send the EPUB directly.
