Download a Walking the Plank story
- Open the story on walkingtheplank.org and copy its URL. A story link looks like
http://www.walkingtheplank.org/archive/viewstory.php?sid=1234. - Paste the link into the download box.
- Select PDF as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Sign in with Discord when prompted.
- Download the finished PDF.
The same link also works on the main Walking the Plank downloader. WP Downloader recognizes the source site from the URL.
About the downloaded file
Each download contains the whole Walking the Plank story in one PDF. Stories on the site are in English. Single chapters and lists are not supported.
For a file that adjusts to different screen sizes and reading settings, use the Walking the Plank to EPUB converter. EPUB is available to everyone without signing in. PDF is also free, but requires a Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. It cannot add new chapters to a PDF or EPUB you already downloaded. If the story gets new chapters, paste its link again to download a new copy.
Walking the Plank support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. More compatible fiction archives are listed on the supported sites page.

You do not need a Walking the Plank account. Paste the public story URL into the download box.
Discord sign-in is only required to create a PDF with WP Downloader. It is separate from Walking the Plank. Choose EPUB if you do not want to sign in with Discord.

Can I download one chapter instead of the whole story?
No. WP Downloader downloads whole Walking the Plank stories only. Use the main story URL.

What if the story receives new chapters later?
