How to Track Psychfic Stories on Goodreads and The StoryGraph

Saving a Psychfic story as an EPUB gives you an offline copy while you look for it on Goodreads or The StoryGraph. If neither service has the story, you can keep your own reading list in calibre.

Download the Psychfic story

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. PDF is also available after you sign in with a free Discord account. For Psychfic, WP Downloader saves the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories.

Add the story to Goodreads

Most fanfiction and web serials are missing from the Goodreads database. Search by title and author before adding anything, and check that a result is the correct work rather than a similarly named one.

If the story is missing, eligible Goodreads users can add it manually at goodreads.com/book/new. Your account must have a verified email address and cannot be brand new. Goodreads requires at least:

• Author

Copy this information from the Psychfic story page. Use consistent names if you plan to add more stories by the same author.

Goodreads librarians handle later edits and merge duplicate records, so search for entries with slightly different metadata before creating a new one.

Search The StoryGraph

Search The StoryGraph by title and author. Its database may not include a Psychfic story, especially one published only as online fanfiction.

The StoryGraph does not provide clear official instructions for adding works that are not books. Check its current help pages instead of following unofficial instructions that may not apply.

If you cannot find a suitable record, you can keep the EPUB in your own calibre library.

Keep a reading list in calibre

calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It can hold stories that Goodreads or The StoryGraph does not list.

After downloading a Psychfic story:

1. Open calibre.
2. Select “Add books.”
3. Choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
4. Check the title, author, cover, and other metadata.
5. Correct the metadata or cover if needed.

Your calibre library can act as a personal catalog of the Psychfic stories you have saved. It also lets you open EPUB files in its e-book viewer, which includes a “Read aloud” feature.
