How to send a JoyRead story to Kindle with Send to Kindle
To read a JoyRead story on Kindle, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and upload the file through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You can then read it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
Step 1: Copy the JoyRead story link
Open the story on joyread.com and copy its URL from your browser. A JoyRead story link looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Go to the JoyRead downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and prepares the story. The tool is free to use on the web, with nothing to install.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and Send to Kindle accepts the format. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
Public stories do not require an account. You can optionally sign in with your JoyRead account to reach members-only stories that the account can read. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested.
The tool does not bypass paywalls or access restrictions. It includes locked or paid chapters only if your JoyRead account can already read them. Otherwise, those chapters are left out.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to Kindle
You can send the EPUB to Kindle through Amazon’s web uploader, the Send to Kindle app, or your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle email address.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files, and neither format is needed here. Send to Kindle accepts EPUB files and no longer accepts MOBI files.
Option 1: Use Send to Kindle on the web
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle web page and select the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
Amazon converts the file and adds the book to your Kindle library. When it appears, you can open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
Option 2: Use the Send to Kindle app
Select the downloaded EPUB in Amazon’s Send to Kindle app and send it. Amazon converts the file and places the book in your Kindle library.
Option 3: Email the EPUB to your Kindle
Attach the EPUB to an email and send it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle email address.
You must send the message from an approved email address. Amazon will not accept the file if the sender has not been approved for your Kindle account.

Step 4: Open the story in your Kindle library
After Amazon converts the EPUB, the JoyRead story appears as a book in your Kindle library. You can open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
If the story later gets new chapters, download the whole story again with WP Downloader and send the new EPUB to Kindle. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you have already downloaded.
Using a PDF instead
WP Downloader can also create PDF files, which Send to Kindle accepts. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in, while EPUB downloads are available to everyone.
Amazon accepts and converts EPUB files for your Kindle library, so you do not need to convert the story to MOBI before sending it.
