How to read a Psychfic story on an Android phone or tablet
To read a Psychfic story on an Android phone or tablet, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and open the file in a compatible reading app. You can download the story through your browser without a Psychfic account.
Download the Psychfic story
Find the story on psychfic.com. Its address should look like this:

Open the Psychfic Downloader in your Android browser. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install a downloader app.
Paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader recognizes the Psychfic link and prepares the story for download. No Psychfic sign-in is required.
Choose a format:
- EPUB is free for everyone and works with e-book reading apps.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in and uses a fixed-page layout.
- To keep the story’s images, turn on the image option before downloading.

Read the EPUB with Google Play Books
Google Play Books lets you upload your own DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. You can then read them on Android, the web, or an iPhone or iPad.
Open the Google Play Books app on your Android device and upload the EPUB from WP Downloader. Once it finishes uploading, open the book in the app.
You can also upload the file from your computer through the Google Play Books website, either from the computer itself or from Google Drive. Use the same Google account on your Android phone or tablet to access the book.
Very large stories may reach Google’s upload size limit. If the EPUB will not upload, use another compatible reader.
Use another EPUB reader on Android
Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files on Android and can open the story file downloaded by WP Downloader.
Choose a reader that supports your file format. Open an EPUB in an EPUB-compatible reader and a PDF in a PDF-compatible reader.
Keep the downloaded file if you want to return to the story offline without downloading it again.
Listen with Android text to speech
Android includes Select to Speak. Turn it on in Settings under Accessibility, then tap items on the screen to hear them read aloud.
For longer listening, you can use either of these Android apps:
- Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files and has a built-in text-to-speech mode.
- @Voice Aloud Reader reads EPUB files aloud.
Both use the text-to-speech voices installed on your device, so the available voices determine how natural the reading sounds.
WP Downloader does not turn Psychfic stories into audiobooks. Its sister service, Audora, turns a story into an audiobook through a button that appears only for single Wattpad story links. That button is not available for Psychfic stories.
Get updated chapters
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author adds chapters, return to the Psychfic Downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.
Remove the older file or give the new copy a clear name so you can tell the two versions apart in your reading app.
