Download the JoyRead story as an EPUB

Find the story on joyread.com and copy its address from your browser. A JoyRead story link looks like this:

Sign in when you need account access

Wait for the EPUB to finish downloading before you continue.

Transfer the EPUB to your tolino

Connect your tolino eReader to your computer with its USB-C cable and wait for the computer to detect it.

The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers. On your computer, one of these models may appear as a connected device. Open it to view its storage.

1. Open the tolino’s storage on your computer.
2. Open the Books folder.
3. Copy the JoyRead EPUB into that folder.
4. Wait for the copy to finish.
5. Disconnect the tolino safely.

Do not unplug the USB-C cable while the file is copying. Otherwise, the EPUB may be incomplete.

Open the JoyRead story

Once the transfer has finished, disconnect the tolino and open the EPUB on the reader. The downloaded story is now available for offline reading.

You can keep the original EPUB on your computer as a backup. If JoyRead publishes more chapters, download the story again and copy the new EPUB to your tolino.

If the transfer does not work

Check that you downloaded the EPUB version of the story. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in, but this guide uses EPUB.

If your computer does not show the reader, check the USB-C connection and wait for it to detect the device. For a tolino vision 6, shine 4, or epos 3, look for an MTP device.

If you copied the EPUB but cannot find it on the reader, reconnect the tolino and make sure the file is in the Books folder. Check that the transfer finished before you removed the cable.
