How to read an AltHistory story on Android

Open the EPUB on Android
When the download finishes, open the file from your browser’s download notification or find it among your downloaded files. Tap the EPUB and choose an app that can open it.

Open the downloaded EPUB in Moon+ Reader. The app also has a text-to-speech mode if you want to hear the story read aloud. It uses the voices installed on your Android device.
Read with Google Play Books
Google Play Books accepts DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. You can upload the story through the Android app or use the Play Books website to upload it from your computer or Google Drive.
After uploading the file, you can read it in Google Play Books on the web, Android, or an iPhone or iPad. Very large books may reach Google’s upload size limit. If that happens, open the file in another compatible reading app.
Open the PDF on Android
Find the downloaded PDF on your device and tap it, then choose an app that can open PDF files.
A PDF keeps its fixed page layout. An EPUB adjusts more easily to an e-book reading app, so it is usually the better choice if you are unsure which format to use.
Listen to an AltHistory story on Android
Android’s Select to Speak accessibility feature can read items on the screen. To turn it on, open Settings, then Accessibility. Once it is enabled, tap an item to hear it read aloud.
For EPUB files, you can also use Moon+ Reader’s text-to-speech mode or @Voice Aloud Reader.
All of these options use the text-to-speech voices installed on your device, so the available voices affect how natural the narration sounds.
