How to Read an Ad Astra Story on a reMarkable Tablet
To read an Ad Astra story on a reMarkable tablet, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and transfer the file through a reMarkable app, a web browser, or USB. WP Downloader is free to use in your browser and does not require installation.
Download the Ad Astra story
Open the Ad Astra story downloader and copy the address of the story from adastrafanfic.com. The URL should look like this:
https://www.adastrafanfic.com/works/123456Paste the link into WP Downloader, which will detect the site. For Ad Astra, the tool downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list.
You can choose from these formats:
- EPUB is free for everyone and works on reMarkable tablets.
- PDF also works on reMarkable, but you need to sign in with Discord for free to create one.
- Turn on the image option before downloading if you want to include artwork or other images from the story.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. A reMarkable supports EPUB and PDF files up to 100 MB, so those other formats are not needed.

Accessing a members-only story
You do not need to sign in for public stories. If a story is available only to members, you can sign in with your Ad Astra account so WP Downloader can retrieve content that account can already read.
WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It does not bypass account or age restrictions, paywalls, or other locked content.

Put the story on your reMarkable
After saving the EPUB or PDF to your phone or computer, transfer it with one of the following methods.
Use the reMarkable desktop or mobile app
Open the reMarkable app on your computer or phone and add the downloaded EPUB or PDF. You can then open the file on your reMarkable tablet.
This is a convenient choice if you downloaded the story on a device where you already use the reMarkable app.
Upload it from a web browser
You can also transfer the file through reMarkable’s browser upload. Open it in your browser, select the EPUB or PDF from WP Downloader, and upload it to your reMarkable.
This works well when the story is already saved on your computer and you do not want to use the desktop or mobile app.
Transfer it over USB
Connect the reMarkable tablet to your computer with a USB cable. Turn on the USB web interface in the tablet’s storage settings. The exact path to this setting may differ between software versions.
On the connected computer, open a browser and enter:

EPUB or PDF: which should you choose?
Both formats work on a reMarkable tablet. EPUB is available to everyone without a sign-in. Choose PDF if you prefer that format and are willing to sign in with Discord to create it.
The finished file must be no larger than 100 MB. Including story images can increase its size.
Getting updated chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB or PDF you downloaded earlier. When an Ad Astra story gets new chapters, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy of the whole story. Transfer the new file to your reMarkable using the same method as before.
