How to Read Ad Astra Stories on a Kobo

Download an Ad Astra story as an EPUB

Copy the EPUB to your Kobo with USB

1. Connect your Kobo to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Wait for the Kobo to appear as a drive.
3. Open the drive.
4. Copy the downloaded EPUB onto the Kobo.
5. Eject the Kobo safely.
6. Disconnect the cable.

The story will appear in your Kobo library. You can then open it like any other EPUB and read it without an internet connection.

Add the EPUB through Dropbox

The following Kobo models can receive non-protected EPUB and PDF files through Dropbox when running software version 4.18 or later:

• Kobo Libra Colour

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the Ad Astra EPUB in the linked cloud folder, and sync the Kobo. The book will appear on that device after the sync finishes.

Books added through Dropbox appear only on the Kobo where you added them.

Add the EPUB through Google Drive

Google Drive requires Kobo software version 4.37 or later and works on the same models:

• Kobo Elipsa
• Kobo Elipsa 2E
• Kobo Libra Colour

To connect Google Drive:

1. On the Kobo Home screen, select More.
2. Open My Google Drive.
3. Select Get Started.
4. Note the code shown on the e-reader.
5. Enter the code on the Kobo website as directed.
6. Put the EPUB in the linked Google Drive folder.
7. Sync the e-reader.

The story will appear on that Kobo after it syncs. Books added through Google Drive appear only on the device where you added them.

Use USB if your Kobo does not support Dropbox or Google Drive.

Read your Ad Astra story offline

Once the EPUB is in your Kobo library, you can read it without returning to adastrafanfic.com or connecting to the internet.

The EPUB is a downloaded copy and will not update when the story changes. Download the story again with WP Downloader whenever you want the latest available chapters.
