Files and chapters
WP Downloader downloads the whole story by following the threadmarks and combining the marked chapters into one ebook. It does not download individual chapters from The Sietch.
EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. You can also choose to include the story’s images in the book.
MOBI, AZW3, and TXT are not available. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB that you have already downloaded, so download the story again when you want the newly posted chapters.
For more help with each format, read the The Sietch EPUB guide or the The Sietch PDF guide.
Accessing members-only stories
You do not need an account for public stories. You can sign in with your The Sietch account to download members-only stories that the account can already read.
WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It does not bypass account requirements, age restrictions, paywalls, or other access controls.
Support for The Sietch was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader released under the Apache-2.0 license. The supported sites page lists the other compatible fiction archives.
