How to Read Stories from The Sietch on a Barnes & Noble NOOK

To read a story from The Sietch on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK over USB. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.” The EPUB contains the threadmarked chapters in one book for offline reading.

Download the story as an EPUB

4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in, but it does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

If your NOOK only starts charging

Newer NOOK models may start charging without allowing file transfers right away.

On the NOOK:

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap “USB for charging.”
3. Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”

Your computer should then be able to access the NOOK. Drag the EPUB onto the device.

Eject the NOOK safely

Wait until the EPUB has finished copying, then eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging the USB cable.

Open the sideloaded EPUB on your NOOK to read the collected threadmarked chapters offline.

When the story gets new chapters
