How to Track Spuffy Realm Stories on Goodreads or StoryGraph
You can track the Spuffy Realm stories you read on Goodreads or The StoryGraph when they have matching entries. Since most fanfiction and web serials are missing from those databases, you can also download each story with WP Downloader and keep your own reading list in calibre.
Download the story with WP Downloader

Track the story on Goodreads
Search Goodreads for the story’s title and author. Most fanfiction and web serials are not in its database, but you can use an existing entry to record your reading if you find one.
Eligible Goodreads members can add a missing book manually at goodreads.com/book/new. Your account needs a verified email address and cannot be brand new. You must provide at least the title and author, which you can copy from the story page.
Search carefully before adding the story to avoid creating a duplicate. Goodreads librarians handle later edits and merge duplicate records.
The Goodreads entry is only a reading record. The downloaded EPUB remains separate and can be opened in an e-book app or moved to another device.
Check The StoryGraph
Search The StoryGraph for the story’s title and author. The work may be missing from its database, especially if it is fanfiction instead of a conventionally published book.
The StoryGraph does not publish clear official instructions for adding works that are not books. If the story is missing, check its current help pages rather than following unofficial instructions that may be outdated or unsuitable for fanfiction.
You can keep the EPUB on your phone, computer, or e-reader even without a matching StoryGraph entry. calibre is another option if you want a library you control yourself.
Keep a reading list in calibre
calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It works well for stories that are missing from Goodreads or The StoryGraph.
After installing calibre:
- Select Add books and choose the EPUB from WP Downloader.
- Edit the metadata or cover if you want to make the story easier to find.
- Open the story in calibre’s e-book viewer.
- Use the viewer’s Read aloud feature if you want to listen.
- Connect an e-reader by USB to send the book to that device.
calibre can convert an EPUB to AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. This can help when your device or reading app needs a format that WP Downloader does not create.
The files stay in your calibre library, so you can organize all your downloaded stories whether or not they appear on a social reading service. When a story gains new chapters, download it again and add the newer file to your library.
Move the EPUB to your reading device
Open the downloaded EPUB in a compatible reading app or move it to your e-reader. The steps depend on the device you use.
