How to Track FictionHunt Stories on Goodreads or The StoryGraph
To keep track of a FictionHunt story, download it as an EPUB and record it separately. Depending on the story and the service you use, you can add it to Goodreads, check The StoryGraph’s help pages, or keep a private reading list in calibre.
Download the FictionHunt story
WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. Open the FictionHunt downloader and paste the story’s FictionHunt URL into the box. A story link looks like this:

Choose one of the available formats:
- EPUB is free for everyone and works with e-book apps.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
- You can also include the story’s available images.
For FictionHunt, WP Downloader saves the whole story. It does not support individual chapters or lists, and it cannot create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. If the author publishes more chapters, download the story again. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you already saved.

Open the story on your device
Once the EPUB has downloaded, find it in your browser’s downloads and open it in an EPUB-compatible reading app on your phone, tablet, or computer.

The downloaded file is your offline reading copy. Goodreads, The StoryGraph, or calibre can hold your separate reading record.
Track the story on Goodreads
Most fanfiction and web serials are not in the Goodreads database. Search for the story first because another reader may already have added it.
If the story is missing, an eligible Goodreads account can add it manually at goodreads.com/book/new. Your account must have a verified email and cannot be brand new. You need at least the story’s title and author.
Use the details from the FictionHunt story page to identify the work. After adding the entry, you can track the story through your Goodreads account.
Goodreads librarians handle edits and merge duplicate records. If you find another entry for the same story, you do not need to maintain both records yourself.
Check The StoryGraph
A FictionHunt story may also be missing from The StoryGraph’s database. The StoryGraph does not publish clear official instructions for adding works that are not books.
Check its current help pages to find out what the service accepts and how it handles missing works. If you cannot add the story, you can keep a private reading list in calibre instead.
Keep a private FictionHunt library in calibre
calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It can hold stories that are missing from Goodreads or The StoryGraph.
To add a story:
- Download the FictionHunt story as an EPUB with WP Downloader.
- Open calibre and select Add books.
- Choose the downloaded EPUB.
- Edit the metadata or cover if needed.
- Read it in calibre’s e-book viewer or send it to a connected e-reader over USB.
The calibre viewer has a Read aloud feature. calibre can also convert the EPUB to another format, including AZW3, MOBI, or PDF.
Each downloaded story has its own entry in your calibre library. When a FictionHunt story gets new chapters, download it again with WP Downloader and manage the replacement in calibre.
