How to Read FictionHunt Stories on a Kobo

Download the FictionHunt story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, then copy it to your Kobo over USB. Some Kobo models can also add EPUB files from Dropbox or Google Drive.

Download the FictionHunt story as an EPUB

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. You will need the story link and a FictionHunt account.

A FictionHunt story link looks like this:

1. Open the FictionHunt downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Sign in with your FictionHunt account.
4. Choose EPUB as the output format.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the EPUB to your phone or computer.

WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only the material your account can already read. It does not bypass paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and Kobo e-readers open EPUB files natively. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

For FictionHunt, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It does not download single chapters or lists. If the author adds more chapters, download the story again to create a new EPUB. WP Downloader cannot update an existing file.

Put the EPUB on your Kobo with USB

To transfer the EPUB from a computer:

1. Connect your Kobo e-reader to the computer with a USB cable.
2. Wait for the Kobo to appear as a drive.
3. Open the Kobo drive.
4. Copy the EPUB file onto it.
5. Eject the Kobo.
6. Disconnect the cable and look for the book in your Kobo library.

You can then open the story from your Kobo library and read it offline.

Add the story through Dropbox

Dropbox transfers require Kobo software version 4.18 or later and one of these models:

• Kobo Forma
• Kobo Sage
• Kobo Elipsa
• Kobo Elipsa 2E
• Kobo Libra Colour

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the FictionHunt EPUB in the Kobo cloud folder, and sync the device. The book will appear on that Kobo only.

Add the story through Google Drive

Google Drive transfers require Kobo software version 4.37 or later and one of the same supported models:

• Kobo Forma
• Kobo Sage
• Kobo Elipsa
• Kobo Elipsa 2E
• Kobo Libra Colour

To connect Google Drive:

1. Select More on the Kobo Home screen.
2. Open My Google Drive.
3. Select Get Started.
4. Note the code shown on the e-reader.
5. Enter the code on the Kobo website.
6. Put the EPUB in the connected cloud folder.
7. Sync the Kobo.

The book will appear on that Kobo only. If your model does not support Dropbox or Google Drive, transfer the EPUB by USB.

Read the story offline

Once the EPUB appears in your Kobo library, open it on the e-reader. The file is stored on the device, so you can continue reading without an internet connection.

If the FictionHunt story later gains new chapters, use WP Downloader to download the whole story again. The new EPUB will contain the chapters available to your account at that time.

Will my EPUB update when new chapters are posted?

No. WP Downloader does not update an existing EPUB. Download the FictionHunt story again to create a new file containing the chapters currently available to your account.
