Keep a private library in calibre
Calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It lets you maintain your own reading library without relying on a public book database.
After installing calibre:

- Edit the book’s metadata or cover if you want to tidy its library entry.

When the story receives new chapters, download it again through WPD and add the new file to calibre. WP Downloader creates a fresh book instead of updating the existing EPUB.
