How to Read TG Storytime Stories on a Barnes & Noble NOOK
To read a TG Storytime story on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK over USB. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.” WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
What you will need
Have these ready:
- The TG Storytime story link
- A computer that can open WP Downloader
- Your NOOK and its USB cable
- A TG Storytime account if the story is available only to members
A TG Storytime story link looks like this:

Step 1: Download the TG Storytime story
Open the TG Storytime downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will recognize the site and prepare the story.
Select EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and works with the NOOK transfer steps below. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
WP Downloader can create a PDF, but that option requires a free Discord sign-in. Use EPUB for this guide.
You do not need a TG Storytime account for public stories. If a story is limited to members, you can sign in with your account from that site. WP Downloader can only download content that your account can already read. It does not bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
When the EPUB is ready, save it somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Connect your NOOK to the computer
Connect your NOOK GlowLight to the computer with its USB cable. It should appear as a drive named NOOK.
On newer models, you may need to turn on file transfers:
- Swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen.
- Tap “USB for charging.”
- Choose “Transfer files,” also shown as MTP.
Return to the computer and open the NOOK drive.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your NOOK
Find the EPUB created by WP Downloader and drag it onto the NOOK drive. Wait for the file to finish copying.
Eject the NOOK from the computer before unplugging the USB cable. You can then find the sideloaded EPUB on your NOOK and begin reading.
Reading an updated version of the story
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author publishes another chapter, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy of the whole story.
Copy the new EPUB to your NOOK using the same USB steps. Clear filenames or download dates can help you distinguish the new copy from the old one.
