How to Read TG Storytime Stories on a Kobo

Download the story as an EPUB

- Paste the story link into the download box.
- Choose EPUB as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the finished EPUB.
EPUB is free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is the simpler choice for a Kobo because the device supports it directly.
WP Downloader saves whole TG Storytime stories. It cannot download a single chapter or a list. If the author publishes more chapters, paste the link into the downloader again and create a new EPUB. An existing EPUB will not update automatically.
You can download public stories without signing in to TG Storytime. Signing in with your account lets WP Downloader reach members-only stories that account can read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. The tool cannot bypass access restrictions.

Transfer the EPUB by USB
USB transfer works with Kobo e-readers and does not require a supported cloud storage feature.
- Connect your Kobo to your computer with a USB cable.
- Wait for it to appear as a drive on the computer.
- Find the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
- Copy the EPUB onto the Kobo drive.
- Eject the Kobo before disconnecting the cable.
- Open the Kobo library and select the story.
The imported EPUB appears in your library with your other books. You can open it without returning to TG Storytime.
Transfer the EPUB through Dropbox or Google Drive
Kobo Forma, Kobo Sage, Kobo Elipsa, Kobo Elipsa 2E, and Kobo Libra Colour can import non-protected EPUB and PDF files from supported cloud storage services.
Dropbox requires Kobo software version 4.18 or later. Google Drive requires version 4.37 or later.
Use Dropbox
Link your Dropbox account from the Kobo, put the EPUB in the Kobo cloud folder, and sync the e-reader. The story will then appear on that device.
Use Google Drive
On the Kobo, open:
Home, More, My Google Drive, Get Started
The e-reader will show a code. Enter it on the Kobo website to link your Google Drive account. Put the EPUB in the linked cloud folder, then sync the Kobo to import it.
Books imported through Dropbox or Google Drive appear only on the device where you added them. Use USB if your Kobo does not support these cloud options.
Read the story offline
Once the EPUB is in your Kobo library, you can read it without opening the original story in a browser.
Keep the downloaded file if you may want to transfer it again. When the online story gains new chapters, return to WP Downloader and download another copy.
