How to Read TG Storytime Stories Offline on a Flight
Download your TG Storytime story before the flight. Once the EPUB or PDF is saved on your device, you can open it without Wi-Fi, even in airplane mode.
Download the story before your flight
WP Downloader is a free web tool, with nothing to install. You only need an internet connection while downloading the story.
- Open the TG Storytime downloader.
- Copy the TG Storytime story URL. It should look like this:

- Choose EPUB or PDF. EPUB is free for everyone, while PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Save the finished file on the device you will take on the flight.
For TG Storytime, WP Downloader saves the entire story. It cannot download an individual chapter or a list. It also cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB, so download the story again when you want an updated copy.
You do not need to sign in for public stories. Signing in to your TG Storytime account lets WP Downloader fetch members-only stories that your account can already read. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, age restrictions, or other access limits.

Choose EPUB or PDF
EPUB works with EPUB reading apps and can be sent to Kindle. Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts EPUB files and converts them for your Kindle library.
Choose PDF if you prefer reading in a PDF app. Send to Kindle also accepts PDF files. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files, and Amazon no longer accepts MOBI through Send to Kindle.
Open the finished file before leaving home. This confirms that the download completed and that your reading app can open it.
Phone or tablet
Save the EPUB or PDF on your phone or tablet, then open it in an app that supports the format.
Before leaving:
- Check that the file is stored on the device.
- Open the story in your reading app.
- Turn on airplane mode.
- Reopen the story and move through a few sections.
If the story still opens, you can read it during the flight without Wi-Fi. Testing first also catches files that an app has left in an online library instead of downloading to the device.
Kindle e-reader or Kindle app
Download the EPUB or PDF, then send it to Kindle while you still have an internet connection. You can use your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle email address, the Send to Kindle app, or the Send to Kindle website.
Amazon converts an EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library, where it can appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. The file must be delivered before you go offline.

Once the book appears, open it on the device you will take and check that it remains available in airplane mode.
Kobo
Download the story and put the file on your Kobo before leaving. Open it once to confirm that it is stored on the device and ready to read offline.

Laptop
Save the EPUB or PDF on your laptop and open it with an app that supports the format. A file left only in a browser tab or online storage may be unavailable without Wi-Fi.
Disconnect from Wi-Fi and reopen the local file before packing your laptop. If it opens, you can read it during the flight without a connection.
Check everything before you leave
Make sure you have:
- Downloaded the complete story
- Saved it on the device you are taking
- Sent it to Kindle, if needed
- Opened it in your reading app
- Tested it in airplane mode
- Downloaded a new copy if the story has gained chapters
