How to Read TG Storytime Stories in the Kindle App
To read a TG Storytime story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and add the file to your Kindle library through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
What you need
Before you start, make sure you have:
- The TG Storytime story link
- WP Downloader open in your browser
- The Kindle app on your phone or tablet
- Access to Amazon’s Send to Kindle service
A TG Storytime story link usually looks like this:
https://tgstorytime.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234 WP Downloader downloads the entire story from TG Storytime. It cannot download a single chapter or a story list from this site.
Step 1: Download the story
Open the TG Storytime Downloader and paste the story URL into the box. You can also paste it on the WP Downloader home page, which will detect that the link is from TG Storytime.
Choose EPUB and start the download. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. You can also include the story’s images.
WP Downloader can create a PDF instead, but this requires a free Discord sign-in. Send to Kindle accepts both EPUB and PDF files.
You do not need to sign in to TG Storytime for public stories. If you want to download a members-only story, sign in with your account on that site. WP Downloader will use your credentials only to fetch the story you requested, and it can download only content your account is allowed to read. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
For more help with downloading, see how to download TG Storytime stories.
Step 2: Add the EPUB to your Kindle library
Once the EPUB is saved on your phone or tablet, submit it to Amazon through Send to Kindle. Amazon will convert the file and add the book to your Kindle library.
You can send the file in three ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
If you send the file by email, you must use an approved sender email address. Amazon will reject messages from addresses that have not been approved.
There is no need to convert the story to MOBI. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files, and WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files.
See the full Send to Kindle guide or the guide to sending TG Storytime stories to Kindle for more detailed instructions.
Step 3: Read the story in the Kindle app
After Amazon processes the file, open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet. The TG Storytime story will appear in your Kindle library. Tap the book to start reading.
The book can also appear on Kindle e-readers connected to the same library.
The EPUB contains the version of the story that was available when you downloaded it. WP Downloader cannot add later chapters to an existing EPUB. If the author publishes another chapter, download the whole story again and send the new file to Kindle.
