Open the story and check that its chapters appear and that you can move between pages. Then turn on airplane mode and open it again to make sure the file is available without an internet connection.

Prepare the story for a Kindle

Amazon’s Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and PDF files. You can send a file by email, with the Send to Kindle app, or through Send to Kindle on the web. Amazon converts the EPUB, and the book appears in your Kindle library on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app.

Send the file before the flight because delivery requires an internet connection. If you use email, send it from an approved sender address. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files.
