Transfer the EPUB to your Kobo with USB

You can copy the EPUB from a computer to your Kobo over USB:

Connect your Kobo e-reader to the computer with a USB cable.
Wait for the Kobo to appear as a drive.
Open the Kobo drive.
Copy the downloaded EPUB onto it.
Eject the Kobo from the computer.
Disconnect the cable.

The story will appear in your Kobo library, where you can open it like any other book.

Add the story through Dropbox

The following Kobo models can import non-protected EPUB and PDF files through Dropbox when running software version 4.18 or later:

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the EPUB in the connected cloud folder, and sync the Kobo. The story will then appear in the library on that device.

Books imported through Dropbox appear only on the Kobo where you added them.

Add the story through Google Drive

Google Drive imports require Kobo software version 4.37 or later and work on these models:

On your Kobo, open Home, then More, then My Google Drive. Select Get Started and enter the displayed code on the Kobo website to link your account.

Put the EPUB in the connected Google Drive folder and sync the e-reader. The imported book will appear only on that Kobo.

Read the story offline

After transferring the EPUB, open it from your Kobo library and read without an internet connection.
