How to Read superlove Stories in KOReader

To read a superlove story offline in KOReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your device. You can then open it from KOReader’s file browser.

• A way to copy the downloaded file to that device

KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on jailbroken Kindles and opens both EPUB and PDF files.

Installing KOReader on Kobo or Kindle involves a separate, unofficial process. This guide assumes you already have it installed.

Step 1: Copy the superlove story link

Open the story on superlove.sayitditto.net and copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. A story link looks like this:

Copy the link for the complete work. WP Downloader downloads whole superlove stories, not individual chapters or lists.

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader

Open the superlove downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and prepares the story. It is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.

Choose EPUB to create a book you can open in KOReader. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF, but that requires a free Discord sign-in. KOReader can open either format.

Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your device

Find the EPUB in your browser’s downloads folder, then copy it to the device where you use KOReader.

Kobo or PocketBook

Connect the e-reader to your computer with USB. Copy the EPUB to the folder where you keep your books, then safely disconnect the device.

Android

Use your usual Android file transfer method to copy the EPUB to a folder you can find easily. If you downloaded the story directly to your Android device, the file may already be in its downloads folder.

Jailbroken Kindle

Copy the EPUB to the Kindle over USB and place it in a folder you can open from KOReader. KOReader on Kindle requires an unofficial jailbreak and installation process, which is outside the scope of this guide.

Step 4: Open the story in KOReader

Open KOReader and use its file browser to find the folder containing the EPUB. Select the file to open it.

The story is stored on your device, so you can read it in KOReader without reopening the superlove website. You can follow the same steps with a PDF if you downloaded that format.

Keep the original file if you want a backup or plan to copy the story to another device.

Getting newly added chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author updates the story, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

Copy the new file to your device and open it in KOReader. Dates in your filenames or folders can help you tell the new copy from the old one.
