Read StoryRoom Stories in Google Play Books
To read a StoryRoom story in Google Play Books, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and upload the file to Play Books. You can then read it on the web or in the Google Play Books app on Android, iPhone, or iPad.

- An account on StoryRoom or FineStories that can read the story

A StoryRoom link usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the StoryRoom story
Open the StoryRoom downloader and paste the story link into the box.
Sign in with an account from the story’s website. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It downloads only the chapters your account can already read and does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can include the story’s images.
You can also download a PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in. Google Play Books accepts both DRM-free EPUB and PDF files.

Step 2: Upload the book from a computer
Open the Google Play Books website and upload the EPUB or PDF. You can choose a file from your computer or Google Drive.
Once the book is in your Play Books library, you can open it in your web browser. If the upload fails, the file may be too large for Google’s upload limit.
Step 3: Read on Android
Save the EPUB or PDF somewhere your Android device can access. Open the Google Play Books app, choose its upload option, and select the file.
You can also upload the book through the Play Books website on a computer, then open it in the Android app.
Step 4: Read on iPhone or iPad
Upload the EPUB or PDF through the Google Play Books website on a computer. You can then open the uploaded story in the Google Play Books app on your iPhone or iPad.
Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. If the author publishes more chapters, return to the StoryRoom downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.
Upload the new file to Google Play Books to read the latest chapters available to your StoryRoom or FineStories account.

Which format should I use for Google Play Books?
EPUB is a good choice for most stories and is free to download with WP Downloader. Google Play Books also accepts PDF files, but downloading a PDF from WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.
Can I upload a StoryRoom story from my phone?
