How to Read stck.me Stories on a Barnes & Noble NOOK
To read a stck.me story on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.” WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
What you need
Have these ready:
- The stck.me story link
- Your stck.me account
- A Barnes & Noble NOOK GlowLight
- A computer and USB cable
Each stck.me author has their own site. Story links usually look like this:

Step 1: Download the story as an EPUB
Open the stck.me downloader in your browser and paste the story link into the box. Sign in with your stck.me account when prompted. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested.
Select EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images.
WP Downloader can also create a PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in. You will need the EPUB for the NOOK steps below.
Paid or follower-only chapters that your account cannot read will stay locked. The downloaded book shows a notice in place of the unavailable content. WP Downloader does not purchase, follow, or unlock anything for you.

Step 2: Connect your NOOK
Connect the NOOK GlowLight to your computer with a USB cable. It should appear on the computer as a drive named “NOOK.”
On newer models, swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen after connecting it. Tap “USB for charging,” then select “Transfer files (MTP)” so the computer can access the device’s storage.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your NOOK
Find the EPUB that WP Downloader created, open the NOOK drive on your computer, and drag the file onto it.
Wait for the transfer to finish, then eject the NOOK from the computer before unplugging the cable. You can now open the story on your NOOK and read it offline.
Downloading newly published chapters
WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the author publishes more chapters, return to the stck.me downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.
The new file will contain the chapters available to your stck.me account at that time. Any chapters your account cannot read will remain locked and appear as a notice in the book.
