Read a stck.me Story in KOReader
To read a stck.me story in KOReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader, copy the file to your device, and open it from KOReader’s file browser.
What you need
You will need:
- The link to the stck.me story
- A stck.me account that can read the story
- Access to WP Downloader’s stck.me downloader
- A device running KOReader
KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on Kindles that have been jailbroken. It opens EPUB and PDF files.
Installing KOReader on Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process. This guide assumes that you have already installed it.
Step 1: Copy the stck.me story link
Open the story on its author’s stck.me site and copy its URL from your browser. A story address looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the stck.me downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Sign in with your stck.me account when prompted. WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested, and it downloads only the content that your account can already read.
Choose EPUB to read the story in KOReader. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images.
You can also download a PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in. KOReader opens both formats.
Locked chapters
WP Downloader never buys, follows, or unlocks content on stck.me. If your account cannot read a paid or follower-only chapter, it remains locked and appears as a notice in the downloaded book. The downloader does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
If you later get access to more chapters, download the story again. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your device
Copy the EPUB to your device using its usual transfer method:
- For Kobo or PocketBook, transfer the EPUB by USB.
- For Android, use Android file transfer.
- For a jailbroken Kindle running KOReader, copy the EPUB to the device as usual.
Put the file in a folder you can find from KOReader. You do not need to convert it to another format. WP Downloader does not produce MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files, and KOReader opens EPUB directly.
Step 4: Open the story in KOReader
Open KOReader and use its file browser to find the folder containing the EPUB. Select the file to start reading.
