How to read Sheppard/Weir stories in the Kindle app
To read a Command Dynamics story from sheppardweir.com in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to Amazon. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library, where you can open it on a phone or tablet.
What you need
Find the page for the story you want to read. A Command Dynamics story link looks like this:

Step 1: Download the story with WP Downloader

- Start the download and save the EPUB file to your device.

Step 2: Sign in for members-only stories
You do not need to sign in to download a public story. For a members-only story, sign in with a sheppardweir.com account that has permission to read it.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to Kindle
After saving the EPUB on your phone or tablet, send it to Amazon in one of these ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
- Send it through the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender email address. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library.
You do not need to convert the EPUB to MOBI. Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and PDF files, but it no longer accepts MOBI files. WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files.

Step 4: Open the story in the Kindle app
Once Amazon has converted the EPUB, the story appears as a book in your Kindle library. Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet, find the book, and select it to start reading.
The converted book can also appear in your library on a Kindle e-reader.
If the story does not appear
Check that you submitted the EPUB through one of Amazon’s supported Send to Kindle methods. If you sent it by email, confirm that you used an approved sender email address and the correct Send-to-Kindle address.
