The following Kobo models can receive non-protected EPUB and PDF files through Dropbox or Google Drive:

Dropbox requires Kobo software version 4.18 or later. Google Drive requires version 4.37 or later.

Link the cloud account from your e-reader, place the EPUB in its cloud folder, and sync your Kobo. To connect Google Drive, go to Home, More, My Google Drive, and Get Started. Enter the displayed code on the Kobo website.

Once the EPUB is in the cloud folder, sync your e-reader and open the book from its library. A book added through Dropbox or Google Drive appears only on the Kobo device where you added it.

If your Kobo is not listed above, transfer the EPUB by USB.

Read the story offline

Once the EPUB is in your Kobo library, you can open it like any other book and read without an internet connection. You can also keep the downloaded file and transfer it again later.
