Read an Occlumency Story in the Kindle App
To read an Occlumency story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and add the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the Occlumency story as an EPUB
Find the story on occlumency.sycophanthex.com. Its URL should look like this:
http://occlumency.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234Copy the story URL and open the Occlumency downloader. Paste the link into the box, and WP Downloader will detect the site.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and can be sent to the Kindle app. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
WP Downloader downloads the entire story from Occlumency. It cannot download a single chapter or a story list from this archive. When new chapters are added, download the story again to get them. WP Downloader cannot update an existing EPUB.
You do not need to sign in for publicly available stories. For a members-only story, you can sign in with your Occlumency account and download content that the account can already read. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It does not bypass members-only access, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.

Send the EPUB to your Kindle library
Use Amazon’s Send to Kindle service to add the downloaded EPUB to your Kindle library. Amazon converts the file so it can appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app.
You can send the file in three ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender address. Amazon will not accept the attachment otherwise.
WP Downloader can also create a PDF, although that requires a free Discord sign-in. Amazon accepts PDF files through Send to Kindle, but this guide uses EPUB.
There is no need to convert the story to MOBI. WP Downloader does not create MOBI files, and Send to Kindle no longer accepts them. WP Downloader does not output AZW3 or TXT files either.

Open the story in the Kindle app
After Amazon converts the EPUB, the story appears in your Kindle library. Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet, find the book in the library, and select it to start reading. You can also find it on Kindle e-readers connected to the same library.

Can WP Downloader send the story directly to the Kindle app?
WP Downloader creates the EPUB file. Add it to your Kindle library with Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Once Amazon converts the file, the story appears in the Kindle app.
Do I need an Occlumency account?
You do not need an account for stories available without signing in. Signing in is optional and lets WP Downloader reach members-only stories that your account can read.
Should I choose EPUB or PDF?

Can I download just one chapter?
