Read Occlumency Stories in KOReader
To read an Occlumency story in KOReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your device. You can then open it from KOReader’s file browser and read without keeping the Occlumency website open.
What you need
KOReader is a free, open-source reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on Kindles that have been jailbroken. It can open EPUB and PDF files, so both formats offered by WP Downloader are compatible.
EPUB is the simpler choice. It is free for everyone, while PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install.
Download the Occlumency story
Open the story on occlumency.sycophanthex.com. Its address should look like this:

- Open the Occlumency Downloader.
- Paste the story link into the download box.
- Sign in to your Occlumency account if the story is available only to members.
- Choose EPUB as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the finished file to your phone or computer.
You can download public stories without signing in. For members-only stories, sign in with an Occlumency account that already has access. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It cannot bypass members-only access, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.

Copy the EPUB to your device
Keep the EPUB as a normal file and copy it somewhere you can find through KOReader’s file browser. The transfer method depends on your device.
Android
Transfer the EPUB to your Android device as you normally would. If you downloaded it on the device, the file may already be in your downloads folder.
Open KOReader, find the EPUB in its file browser, and select it to start reading.
Kobo
If KOReader is already set up on your Kobo, connect the device to your computer by USB and copy the EPUB onto it. Once the transfer finishes, open KOReader and find the book in its file browser.

PocketBook
Copy the EPUB to your PocketBook as usual. Open KOReader, browse to the file’s location, and select it. KOReader supports EPUB directly, so no conversion is needed.
