Read MediaMiner Stories on a reMarkable Tablet
To read a MediaMiner story on a reMarkable tablet, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and transfer the file to the tablet. You can do this from a phone or computer, then keep the story on your reMarkable for offline reading.
Download the MediaMiner story
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. It saves a whole MediaMiner story as one ebook file. Its support for fiction archives such as MediaMiner was ported from the open-source FanFicFare downloader.
1. Copy the story link
Open the story on mediaminer.org and copy its URL from your browser. A MediaMiner story link looks like this:

2. Paste the link into WP Downloader
Open the MediaMiner downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect that it comes from MediaMiner.
You do not need a MediaMiner account or sign-in. MediaMiner stories are in English.
3. Choose EPUB or PDF
Choose the format you want to use on your reMarkable:
- EPUB is free for everyone.
- PDF works on reMarkable, but WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in to create it.
You can also choose whether to include the story’s images. reMarkable accepts EPUB and PDF files up to 100 MB, so check the file size if the story is especially long or contains many images.
Download the file when it is ready. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files, and reMarkable does not require any of those formats.

Add the story to your reMarkable
You can transfer the EPUB or PDF with the reMarkable desktop or mobile app, through a web browser, or over a USB cable. Use the method that suits the device where you downloaded the story.
Use the reMarkable desktop app
If the file is on your computer, open the reMarkable desktop app and add the downloaded EPUB or PDF. Once the file reaches your tablet, open it from your reMarkable.
The desktop app is also useful when you have several downloaded stories to organize.
Use the reMarkable mobile app
If you downloaded the story on your phone, add the EPUB or PDF through the reMarkable mobile app. It will appear on your tablet with your other documents.
The file’s location depends on your phone and browser. Check the folder where your browser usually saves downloads.
Upload it from a web browser
You can also upload files to reMarkable from a web browser. Select the EPUB or PDF created by WP Downloader and add it to your tablet. This method does not require the desktop app.
Transfer it over USB
Connect the reMarkable tablet to your computer with a USB cable. On the tablet, turn on the USB web interface in the storage settings. Then open this address in a browser on the connected computer:

Get new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When a MediaMiner story gets another chapter, return to the MediaMiner downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.
Transfer the new file to your reMarkable with the desktop app, mobile app, browser, or USB method.
