Read MediaMiner Stories in Google Play Books
To read a MediaMiner story in Google Play Books, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and upload the file to Play Books. You can then read it on the Play Books website or its Android, iPhone, and iPad apps.
Step 1: Copy the MediaMiner story link
Open the story on mediaminer.org and copy its full URL from your browser’s address bar. A MediaMiner story link looks like this:

You do not need to sign in to MediaMiner. The stories are in English.
Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the free MediaMiner Downloader. WP Downloader is a web tool, so there is nothing to install.
Paste the story link into the box and start the download. WP Downloader will recognize the MediaMiner link and prepare the whole story as a book.
Choose EPUB for Google Play Books. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images.
You can also download a PDF, although that requires a free Discord sign-in. Google Play Books accepts DRM-free EPUB and PDF files.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. Google Play Books does not require any of those formats.

Step 3: Upload the book to Google Play Books
After the file finishes downloading, upload it to your Google Play Books library. Play Books accepts your own DRM-free EPUB and PDF files.
Upload from a computer
Open the Google Play Books website and select its upload option. Choose the file from your computer, or upload it from Google Drive.
Wait for the upload to finish before opening the book. Very large files may exceed Google’s upload size limit.
Upload from an Android phone or tablet
Open the Google Play Books app on your Android device and use its file upload option. Select the EPUB or PDF from your downloaded files.
When the upload finishes, the MediaMiner story will appear in your Play Books library.
Read on an iPhone or iPad
Upload the book through the Play Books website, then open the Google Play Books app on your iPhone or iPad and select it from your library.
Step 4: Open the story
Open Google Play Books on the web, Android, iPhone, or iPad. Find the uploaded MediaMiner story in your library and select it to start reading.
If the author publishes new chapters, download the whole story again and upload the new file. WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you previously downloaded.

Which format should I use for Google Play Books?
