How to read a Kakuyomu story on a tolino eReader
To read a Kakuyomu story on a tolino eReader, download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to the Books folder on your tolino. EPUB downloads are free, and Kakuyomu does not require you to sign in.

A Kakuyomu story link normally looks like this:

Step 1: Download the Kakuyomu story as an EPUB
Open the Kakuyomu downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects that the link is from kakuyomu.jp and prepares the story for download.
Choose EPUB as the output format. tolino eReaders can read EPUB files, and EPUB downloads are free for everyone. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
WP Downloader downloads the whole Kakuyomu story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories from Kakuyomu. You do not need a Kakuyomu account.

Step 2: Connect your tolino to the computer
Connect your tolino eReader to the computer with its USB-C cable. Wait for the computer to detect the reader before moving the EPUB.
The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers. Open the tolino’s storage once it appears on your computer.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB into the Books folder
Find the folder named Books on the tolino’s drive. Copy or drag the Kakuyomu EPUB from your computer into that folder.
Wait for the file to finish copying. Do not unplug the cable while the transfer is in progress.
Once the copy is complete, unplug the USB-C cable.
Step 4: Open the story on your tolino
Find the transferred Kakuyomu story on your tolino and open it. The EPUB is stored on the eReader, so you can read it offline.
Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author updates the Kakuyomu story, download the whole story again to get a new EPUB.
Copy the new EPUB to the Books folder using the same USB-C process. Check the files on your tolino to make sure you open the copy you want to read.
