How to Read Inkitt Stories on a tolino eReader
To read an Inkitt story on a tolino eReader, download it as an EPUB and copy the file to your reader with a USB-C cable. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
What you need
Before you begin, gather:
- The Inkitt story link
- An Inkitt account that can read the story
- Your Inkitt email address and password
- A computer
- Your tolino eReader and its USB-C cable

Step 1: Copy the Inkitt story link
Open the story on inkitt.com and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar. An Inkitt story link looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Inkitt downloader page and paste the story link into the box.
Inkitt downloads require an Inkitt account, so sign in with your Inkitt email address and password when prompted. WP Downloader uses these credentials only to fetch the story you requested.
The tool detects the site from the link and prepares the story. Select the image option if you want to include the story’s images.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and works with tolino eReaders. WP Downloader also offers PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in.

Step 3: Save the EPUB on your computer
When the EPUB is ready, save it somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder.
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. If the author publishes more chapters, download the whole story again to create a new file with the content your Inkitt account can read.
Step 4: Connect your tolino by USB-C
Connect the tolino eReader to your computer with its USB-C cable. Wait for the computer to detect it before moving the EPUB.
The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers. These models may appear as connected devices instead of ordinary removable drives. Open the reader in your computer’s file browser to see its folders.
Step 5: Copy the EPUB to the Books folder
Open the tolino’s storage and find the Books folder. Copy or drag the downloaded EPUB into it.
Wait for the file to finish copying before you unplug the tolino. Once the transfer is complete, the Inkitt story will be available on the reader as an EPUB for offline reading.
If the story does not appear
Reconnect the tolino and make sure the EPUB is in the Books folder and finished copying.
If WP Downloader cannot access part of the story, check that you signed in with the Inkitt account that can read it. The EPUB can contain only the content available to that account.
