How to Read Inkitt Stories on a PocketBook
To read an Inkitt story on a PocketBook, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and transfer the file with Send-to-PocketBook or a USB cable. You can then read it offline on your e-reader.
What you need
Have the following ready:
- The Inkitt story link
- Your Inkitt email address and password
- Access to the email account you use with Send-to-PocketBook, or a USB cable
- A PocketBook e-reader
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. PocketBook reads EPUB and PDF files. EPUB is free for everyone on WP Downloader, while PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
Download the Inkitt story as an EPUB
Open the Inkitt downloader in a web browser on your phone or computer.
An Inkitt story link looks like this:
https://www.inkitt.com/stories/202117 Copy the story address, paste it into the box, and continue. WP Downloader will recognize it as an Inkitt link.
Sign in with the email address and password for your Inkitt account. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to retrieve the story you requested.
The tool can download only what your Inkitt account can already read. It cannot bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
Choose EPUB as the output format. You can also include the story’s images. Inkitt downloads contain the whole story, not individual chapters.
Once the file is ready, save it somewhere easy to find. On a phone, look in your browser’s downloads area or file manager. On a computer, check your browser’s usual download folder.

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook
Send-to-PocketBook transfers the EPUB to your reader by email.
1. Set up Send-to-PocketBook
On your PocketBook, open Settings, select Accounts and synchronization, and then choose Send-to-PocketBook.
Sign in and complete the activation process. You will receive an activation email and a personal address ending in @pbsync.com.
2. Email the EPUB
Create an email, address it to your personal @pbsync.com address, and attach the EPUB from WP Downloader. Send the message and allow time for the service to receive it.
3. Sync your PocketBook
Connect the PocketBook to the internet and sync it. The EPUB should download to the reader and appear with your other books.
If the book does not appear, make sure the email address you sent it from is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address. Approve it, resend the EPUB if needed, and sync again.
Transfer the story over USB
You can also copy the EPUB directly from a computer.
Download the EPUB to the computer, connect your PocketBook with a USB cable, and open the reader’s storage. Copy the EPUB to the PocketBook and wait for the transfer to finish.
Safely disconnect the reader, then find and open the book on the device. This method does not use email or the Send-to-PocketBook approved-address list.
Get newer chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the Inkitt story is updated, return to the Inkitt downloader, paste the link again, and download a new copy.
Transfer the new EPUB to your PocketBook by email or USB.
If you use another e-reader, you can also follow the guides for Kindle or Kobo.
