Read an Inkitt Story in KOReader
To read an Inkitt story in KOReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader, copy the file to your device, and select it in KOReader’s file browser. KOReader runs on Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices, as well as jailbroken Kindles.
Download the story as an EPUB
WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. Open the Inkitt downloader and copy the link to the story you want to read.
An Inkitt story URL looks like this:

- Open the Inkitt downloader in your browser.
- Paste the story link into the box.
- Sign in with your Inkitt email address and password.
- Choose EPUB as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the EPUB.
You need an Inkitt account to download a story. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only content that your account is allowed to read and does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.

KOReader opens EPUB files directly. WP Downloader can also create a PDF, but that format requires a free Discord sign-in. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
Copy the EPUB to your device
Copy the downloaded EPUB to the device where you use KOReader. Then locate the file in KOReader’s file browser and open it.
Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the reader to your computer with USB and copy the EPUB to it as usual. Safely disconnect the reader, open KOReader, and find the EPUB in its file browser.

Android phone or tablet
Copy the EPUB to your Android phone or tablet with Android file transfer. Open KOReader’s file browser, find the EPUB, and select it.
Jailbroken Kindle
KOReader runs on jailbroken Kindles. Installing it is a separate, unofficial process, so these instructions assume it is already available.
Connect the Kindle to your computer with USB and copy the EPUB to it. Open KOReader, find the file, and select it. KOReader can open the EPUB without converting it to MOBI or AZW3.

Get newer chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author adds chapters, return to the Inkitt downloader, paste the story link again, and download the whole story as a new EPUB.
Copy the new file to your device and open it in KOReader.
