How to Read an Imagine: The List Story on a NOOK
To read an Imagine: The List story on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK over USB. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.”

Download the story as an EPUB
Open the story on imagine.e-fic.com. Its URL should look like this:
https://imagine.e-fic.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar. Open the Imagine: The List downloader, then paste the URL into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and prepares the story.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF with a free Discord sign-in, though this guide uses EPUB.
To save the story’s pictures in the book, turn on the option to include images before downloading.

Accessing members-only stories
You do not need to sign in to download public stories. You can sign in with your Imagine: The List account to reach members-only stories that the account can read.
WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It cannot bypass members-only access, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions. It downloads only content that your account can already read.
Imagine: The List support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader.
Connect your NOOK to your computer
After downloading the EPUB, connect your NOOK GlowLight to your computer with a USB cable.
The device may appear automatically as a drive named “NOOK.” If it does, you can copy the EPUB to it.
On newer models, change the USB connection mode before transferring the file:
- Swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen.
- Tap “USB for charging.”
- Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”
Your computer should then show the NOOK as a connected device.
Copy the EPUB to your NOOK
Find the EPUB on your computer. Open the connected NOOK drive and drag the EPUB onto it.
Wait for the transfer to finish. Eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging the USB cable.
The Imagine: The List story should now be available to read on your NOOK.
Download new chapters
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB already stored on your NOOK. If the author adds chapters, paste the story URL into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
Connect your NOOK and copy the new EPUB to it using the same steps.
