How to Send an Imagine: The List Story to Kindle
To send an Imagine: The List story to your Kindle, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and upload the file through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You can then open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
WP Downloader is a free browser-based tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the story with WP Downloader
Copy the link to the story from imagine.e-fic.com. Its URL should look like this:
https://imagine.e-fic.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234 Then:
- Open the Imagine: The List downloader.
- Paste the story URL into the box.
- Sign in to your Imagine: The List account if the story is available only to members. Skip this step for public stories.
- Choose EPUB as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the EPUB to your phone, tablet, or computer.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only content your account is allowed to read and cannot bypass locked content or access restrictions.
For Imagine: The List, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories. If the author adds chapters later, download the story again to make a new EPUB.
The Imagine: The List download guide covers the download process in more detail.
Choose how to send the EPUB
Amazon accepts EPUB files through Send to Kindle. You can upload the file on the web, use the Send to Kindle app, or email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
See the Send to Kindle guide for more information about each option.
Send the EPUB on the web
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle page in your browser and select the EPUB you downloaded. Once you submit the file, Amazon converts it and adds the book to your Kindle library.
This option works well when the EPUB is already on your phone or computer.
Use the Send to Kindle app
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle app, select the downloaded EPUB, and send it. After Amazon processes the file, the story will appear in your Kindle library.
You can open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
Email the EPUB to your Kindle
Attach the EPUB to an email and send it to your Kindle’s personal Send-to-Kindle email address.
You must send the message from an approved email address. Amazon will reject the delivery if the sender is not approved for your Kindle account. After sending the email, wait for the converted book to appear in your Kindle library.
EPUB or PDF?
EPUB is the easiest format to use for this process. WP Downloader provides EPUB files free to everyone, and Send to Kindle accepts and converts them.
Send to Kindle also accepts PDF files. WP Downloader can create a PDF after you sign in with Discord for free.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files. Neither format is needed here, and Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files.
Open the story on your Kindle
After Amazon converts the file, open the story from your Kindle library on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
For other ways to read the downloaded story, see the guides to reading Imagine: The List stories on Kobo and reading Imagine: The List stories offline.
