How to Read FictionHunt Stories on a Barnes & Noble NOOK
To read a FictionHunt story on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK over USB. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.” The story will then be available to read offline.
What you need
Before you start, make sure you have:
- The FictionHunt story page
- An account on fictionhunt.com
- A computer
- A USB cable for your NOOK
- A NOOK GlowLight

Download the FictionHunt story as an EPUB
Open the FictionHunt Downloader in your browser. You can also paste the story link into the box on the WP Downloader home page, which will detect that the link comes from FictionHunt.
- Copy the FictionHunt story URL from your browser.
- Paste it into WP Downloader.
- Sign in with your FictionHunt account when prompted.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the story as an EPUB.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only material that your account is allowed to read. It cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in, but it does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Copy the EPUB to your NOOK
Connect your NOOK GlowLight to your computer with a USB cable after the EPUB finishes downloading.
Allow file transfers on newer NOOK models
A newer NOOK may start charging without allowing file transfers. On the NOOK:
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap “USB for charging.”
- Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”
Your computer should then recognize the NOOK as a connected device.
Move the EPUB onto the NOOK
Your NOOK appears on the computer as a drive called “NOOK.” Open the drive, find the FictionHunt EPUB you downloaded, and drag it onto the NOOK.
Wait until the copy finishes before disconnecting the cable.
Eject the NOOK
Eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging it. Once it has been ejected, disconnect the USB cable. The FictionHunt story is now stored on your NOOK for offline reading.
Download new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB already stored on your NOOK. If the author publishes more chapters, return to the FictionHunt Downloader and download the complete story again.
Copy the new EPUB to your NOOK using the same USB steps.
