How to Read FictionHunt Stories Offline on a Flight
Download your FictionHunt story before the flight while you still have internet access. WP Downloader saves the whole story as an EPUB or PDF that you can open offline on your device.
Download the FictionHunt story before your flight
Complete the download somewhere with a reliable internet connection.
- Copy the FictionHunt story link from your browser. It should look like this:

Paste the story link into the box.
Sign in with your FictionHunt account when prompted. FictionHunt requires an account for downloads. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested and can download only stories your account is allowed to read.
Choose whether to include the story’s images.
Download the story as an EPUB or PDF. EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.

Choose a format for your device
Once the file is on your device, you can read either format without an internet connection. Choose the one that suits your reading device or app.
Phone or tablet
Choose EPUB if you have an EPUB reader on your phone or tablet. Download the file, open it in your reading app, and make sure the story appears before you leave.
You can also choose PDF and open it in a PDF reader. Since PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in, finish that step while you are online.
Install or set up your reading app before the flight. Open the downloaded file once to check which app handles it.
Kindle e-reader or Kindle app
Download the EPUB or PDF, then send it to Kindle while you have an internet connection. Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts both formats.
You can deliver the file in three ways:
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
Amazon converts EPUB files and adds the book to your Kindle library. It can then appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. Wait for the book to reach your Kindle or app before the flight.
If you send the file by email, the sender address must be on your approved sender list. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files, and WP Downloader does not create them.

Kobo
Download the story as an EPUB and put it on your Kobo before the trip. Open it once to make sure it is ready. The FictionHunt on Kobo guide explains the device-specific steps.
Laptop or other computer
Save the EPUB or PDF on the computer you are taking. Open the EPUB in an EPUB reader or the PDF in a PDF reader. Make sure you are opening the downloaded file, since the FictionHunt page will require an internet connection.
Test the story in airplane mode
Check that everything works offline before you leave:
- Confirm that the EPUB or PDF is stored on the device you are taking.
- Open the story in your chosen app.
- If you use Kindle, wait for the book to appear in your library.
- Turn on airplane mode.
- Close and reopen the story.
If the story opens in airplane mode, you can read it during the flight. Keep the downloaded file until your trip is over in case you want to use another compatible app.
Download updated stories again
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. If the FictionHunt story gets new chapters before your flight, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy. You can replace the older file or keep both, then repeat the airplane mode test.
