To read a FictionHunt story in KOReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader, copy the file to your device, and open it from KOReader’s file browser. You can then read the story offline.

KOReader is a free, open-source document reader that opens EPUB and PDF files. EPUB is free for everyone through WP Downloader, so this guide uses that format.
Installing KOReader on a Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process. The steps below assume it is already installed and working.
Step 1: Copy the FictionHunt story link
Open the story on fictionhunt.com and copy its address from your browser. FictionHunt story links follow this pattern:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the FictionHunt downloader, paste the story link into the box, and sign in with your FictionHunt account.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only what your account can already read and does not bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
Select EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and opens in KOReader. You can also include the story’s images.
You may also download a PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in and works in KOReader. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your device
After the download finishes, find the EPUB in your browser’s download location and copy it to the device where you use KOReader.
Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the e-reader to your computer with USB. Copy the EPUB to a folder that will be easy to find in KOReader, then disconnect the device as usual.

Android
If you downloaded the story directly on your Android device, you can leave it in the downloads folder. If the EPUB is on a computer, copy it to the device with your usual Android file-transfer method.
Jailbroken Kindle
Copy the EPUB to the Kindle over USB, then find it in KOReader. KOReader opens EPUB files directly, so you do not need to convert the story to MOBI or AZW3.

Step 4: Open the story in KOReader
Open KOReader and use its file browser to find the folder containing the EPUB. Select the file to start reading.
Once you have copied the file to the device, you can read it offline without keeping the FictionHunt page open.
Getting newly published chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author updates the story, return to the FictionHunt downloader, paste the same link, and download the whole story again.
Copy the new EPUB to your device and open it in KOReader.
