How to Read FictionAlley Stories on a PocketBook
To read a FictionAlley Archive story on a PocketBook e-reader, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and transfer the file by email or USB. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install. You do not need a FictionAlley account.
Download the FictionAlley story
Open the FictionAlley Downloader. You can also paste the story link into the box on the WP Downloader home page, which will detect that it comes from FictionAlley Archive.
A FictionAlley story URL looks like this:
https://www.fictionalley-archive.org/authors/drt/DA.html Use the URL for the complete story. WP Downloader downloads whole stories from FictionAlley Archive, not individual chapters or story lists.
- Copy the FictionAlley Archive story URL from your browser.
- Paste it into WP Downloader.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file to your phone or computer.
EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. PocketBook e-readers support both formats.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. PocketBook can read the EPUB or PDF directly, so you do not need to convert the file.

Send the EPUB to your PocketBook by email
Send-to-PocketBook gives your reader its own email address. After you activate it, you can email the downloaded story to that address and sync your device.
Set up Send-to-PocketBook
On your PocketBook reader:
- Open Settings.
- Choose Accounts and synchronization.
- Select Send-to-PocketBook.
- Sign in and follow the activation steps.
- Open the activation email you receive.
After activation, you will get a personal PocketBook address ending in @pbsync.com.
Email and sync the story
On the phone or computer where you saved the story, create a new email and attach the EPUB or PDF. Send it to your @pbsync.com address.
Sync your PocketBook after sending the email. The story should then appear on the reader.
If the file does not arrive, check whether your sending email address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist it before accepting the attachment.
Copy the story to your PocketBook over USB
You can also transfer the file from a computer:
- Connect your PocketBook to the computer with a USB cable.
- Open the PocketBook’s storage.
- Copy the downloaded EPUB or PDF to the reader.
- Eject or disconnect the PocketBook when the transfer finishes.
- Open the story on your PocketBook.
USB is useful if you do not want to set up Send-to-PocketBook or the emailed file does not appear after a sync.
Download new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. To get new chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy of the whole story.
Transfer the new file to your PocketBook by email or USB.
If you use another e-reader, see the guides for sending FictionAlley stories to Kindle or reading FictionAlley stories on Kobo.
